Search is often in one product, AI in another and the real process still lives in people's heads. Pūnaha brings knowledge, supported AI models, workflows and adaptive case management into one system. It is made by Hot Desk Consultancy Services Limited in Wellington, New Zealand.
The name
Pūnaha means system in Māori
Say it as pū-na-ha, with a longer sound on pū.
The name fits the product because useful enterprise AI is not one model or one search box. It is a system of knowledge, technology, repeatable process, adaptive work and human judgement.
Pūnaha keeps those parts connected while allowing the organisation to choose where the platform runs, which supported AI handles each task and where a person remains responsible.
